CLAIMS SERVICE
In addition to specialist placement broking, a key part of our offering and differentiator is to deliver an unrivalled claims service. We are known for having an outstanding and market-leading claims division by both clients and insurers. We assign a claims specialist to all our clients, who will be involved at the time of programme placement right through to the settlement of any claims. Our claims specialists have many years of experience, some are qualified lawyers, others have worked at insurers before joining Paragon. Their involvement from day one ensures that we understand our clients’ businesses and how they want to handle claims, particularly complex claims. This has ensured that not only have we retained our clients over the years, but our clients have also continued their relationship with their insurers following the settlement of some significant matters. We pride ourselves on knowing all of the parties involved in the underwriting and claims process well and using that knowledge to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
RISK MANAGEMENT
To provide additional support for our clients, we have partnered with specialist risk management providers who can offer a broad range of risk management-related services. To help supplement these services, we are often successful in negotiating a dedicated budget from insurers, who recognise the long-term benefits relating to loss prevention. Our approach is to tailor risk management solutions specifically to an individual client‘s needs.
We also understand that our clients often require assistance to navigate complex legal issues, whether these emanate from their work at home or on international projects. These concerns may include:
• onerous contractual terms
• unusual standard of care provisions
• difficult legal systems with few precedents
• obscure local laws and civil codes
• untypical liabilities that arise under such local laws or codes
• inadequate or insufficient coverage held by sub-contractors.
For these reasons, we have partnered with a leading international law firm, who is available, (at pre-agreed discounted rates), for legal advice or risk management related services designed specifically for Paragon clients.
